Rene Reche was into music at an early age just listening to all kinds of stuff he could get his hands or more likely his ears on...
Listening to jazzy hiphop and funk music he got interested in the funky side of house music and into artists like Daft Punk, Ian Pooley, Roger Sanchez, Armand van Helden and Laidback Luke got his full attention. Being hooked on housemusic the next step for Rene resulted in the start of his DJ career at the age of 17.
In the years after he developed his DJ skills and unique sound that got a lot of appreciation by the crowd he played to. His style of music is best discribed as funky uplifting beats with percussive elements and influences from funk, soul and jazz therefor sax, trompet and piano are often included in his choice of music.
